Dr. Lynda Tran
We are proud to have Dr. Lynda Tran join our practice.
Dr. Tran is a family dentist who is dedicated to providing her patients with the best level of care under the most optimal level of comfort.
She graduated from UC Davis with honors majoring in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior. She then went on to UCSF School of Dentistry where she graduated top of her class.
To better serve her patients and to provide their families with the best care, she has completed additional training in pediatric dentistry, Invisalign and oral conscious sedation. She is constantly in search of new techniques and innovative ways to provide her patients with the best care. She recently received an award from the Academy of General Dentistry for having exhibited great interest, knowledge and proficiency in the field of general dentistry. She will be seeing and treating the children in my practice and also handle the adult orthodontic needs of our patients with the Invisalign system.
She is dedicated to giving back to her community by lending a hand to local non-profits and participating in outreach programs, such as Neighbors in Health, Give Kids a Smile, and Giant Steps.
Finally, to unwind, she enjoys improving her golf swing, snowboarding, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family.
Dr Demetrakopulos, DDS
Dr. Pauline Demetrakopulos
Dr. Demetrakopulos was born in Northern California and raised throughout the United States and Europe. She became interested in dentistry at the age of 15 while she was having orthodontic treatment in Germany. Soon after she began working as a dental assistant for a well known restorative dentist in Nurnberg, Germany.
This sparked her enthusiasm for dentistry, and upon returning to the U.S., she enrolled at San Francisco State University and graduated with a BS in Cellular Biology. She went on to attend the University of the Pacific Dental School where she graduated in 1984. Upon graduation from UOP, she completed a residency with Branemark Implant System. This is when she decided that she would focus on Implant and Restorative dentistry, as well as Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Demetrakopulos opened her practice in downtown San Francisco where she created some of the Bay Area’s most beautiful smiles. In 2004, she decided to move out of the big city, and start a practice in the heart of the Napa Valley Wine Country. She was now able to combine her love of dentistry along with her passion for food and wine. Her state of the art practice in St. Helena is located in the restored depot building. Vineyard views and rolling hills are enjoyed outside the windows, and everyday, the Napa Valley Wine Train stops outside the door.
Dr. Demetkrakopulos works in partnership with her Artistic and Laboratory director, Mr. Jerry Parks. He is one of the best laboratory masters of porcelain fabrication in California. Working together, Dr. D and Mr. Parks custom make smiles, choosing the perfect shape and the shade to give patients the smile they have always dreamed of.
Dr. Demetrakopulos prides herself on her passion for dentistry, food, wine and especially people. She is creating beautiful smiles in the Napa Valley, and would love the opportunity to meet you.
